Thank you for joining us this evening for Nathan Adelson Hospice’s 26th Annual Serenades of Life – Doctors in Concert featuring Frankie Moreno. This year, we are excited to be at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts – Myron’s Cabaret Jazz. Serenades of Life – Doctors in Concert was started by Dr. Ed Kingsley, Nathan Adelson Hospice Board of Trustees member, to highlight the extraordinary musical talents of physicians in our community. Thank you to all our performers who are donating their time and performing this evening. We are grateful to you.
This year’s recipient of the Brad Garrett Humanitarian Award is Don Snyder. Don Snyder served on the Nathan Adelson Hospice Board of Trustees for 30 years. Don’s leadership has been a vital force in Nathan Adelson Hospice continuing to be the community’s trusted partner for end-of-life care. Don has played an active role in so many initiatives in Nevada, including the building of The Smith Center for the Performing Arts, and being instrumental in enticing the Las Vegas Raiders to move to Las Vegas. M uch of the progress in Southern Nevada point s to Don Snyder 's efforts. We are thankful for Don’s many years of service on the Nathan Adelson Hospice Board of Trustees. A special thank you to Brad Garrett for being here this evening to present the Humanitarian Award. With your support, Nathan Adelson Hospice is well-positioned for another 40 years of compassionate care in our community. Working together, we will continue to ensure that no one ends the journey of life alone, afraid or in pain . I hope you enjoy this evening’s performances. Sincerely,
Karen Rubel President and CEO
