Currently works as the Clinical Director at The Problem-Gambling Center and as a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor Supervisor at the ICLV Wellness Center.

Alyson Blight, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC - Alyson Blight received both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She is an ANCC Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and a Nevada Advanced Practice Nurses Association member. She brings over a decade of experience in nursing in Las Vegas, primarily in the acute care setting. Ms. Blight has received several awards, including the DAISY Foundation’s Daisy Award for Exceptional Nurses. She remains committed to developing future nursing leaders through the UNLV Rebel Alumni Mentorship program. She also trains and precepts new Hospice and Palliative Nurses and Nurse Practitioners. Born and raised in Hawaii, Alyson has a unique perspective on caring for others. In Hawaii, living “pono” refers to doing the right thing for others and oneself, which creates balance. Alyson strives to create a positive environment for her patients and their families through pono in every encounter.
